What is QuickCodeQR?
QuickCodeQR is a free, secure, 100% client-side qr code generator online that creates static QR codes. The information is encoded directly in the image, so your codes never expire, never depend on a third-party redirect and never require a subscription. It is a simple dynamic qr code alternative for anyone who does not need scan tracking.
Use it for website links, restaurant menus, Wi-Fi sharing, contact emails, phone numbers, event pages and printed marketing material. Note that QR codes are a 2D matrix format; if you need classic 1D product barcodes, use a dedicated free barcode generator.
Frequently asked questions
Is this QR code generator free?
Yes. QuickCodeQR is completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many QR codes you create.
Can I use the generated QR code commercially?
Yes. The QR codes you generate are yours to use on packaging, print, menus, business cards and ads, including commercial projects, with no attribution required.
How to make a Wi-Fi QR code?
Open the Wi-Fi tab, enter your network name (SSID), choose the encryption type, type the password, then download the code. Phones can scan it to join the network without typing the password.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything is generated locally in your browser with JavaScript. Your text, links and passwords are never sent to any server.
What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static QR code stores the data directly in the image, so it never expires and works forever. Dynamic QR codes point to a redirect URL that can be edited later but usually require a paid subscription. QuickCodeQR creates static codes.
Which error correction level should I choose?
Medium is a good default. Use Quartile or High if the code will be printed on rough surfaces or might get scratched, at the cost of a denser pattern.
